The facility includes Imo Pump's research and development department as well as all headquarters facilities and personnel. The manufacturing facility is an integral part of the operation and uses qualified welders and welding procedures. The Columbia, Kentucky, USA facility is a full manufacturing facility that produces high pressure gear pumps and all mass produced three-screw pumps. Its quality management system has passed ISO 9002 certification. Together, these plants produce high quality pumps for hydrocarbon and chemical processing, crude oil transportation, naval and commercial ships, power generation, pulp and paper, hydraulic lifts and general industrial machinery.
