 SHINKAWA specializes in the development and manufacture of displacement/vibration sensors, machine condition monitoring systems and analytical/diagnostic systems. With excellent environmental tolerance to high temperatures, low pressures, and more, our proprietary sensing technology enables us to contribute to a variety of applications, from condition monitoring of small general-purpose rotating machines to large turbines, to safe operation of bullet trains (Shinkansen) and more. SHINKAWA's R&D department is responsible for the development of products ranging from vibration sensors for a variety of rotating machinery to high-precision non-contact displacement sensors for analysis/diagnostic systems. Covers every element of mechanical condition monitoring, vibration/displacement sensors, monitors and analytical/diagnostic systems to maintain a high share of this market. With the development of new sensor materials, the sensor technology can be improved significantly. In cooperation with various research institutes, Shinkawa has developed not only the base of eddy current sensor coils, permanent durable alloys, but also permanent elastic materials. These are used in many of our products and are highly regarded in various industrial domains.
