HEIDENHAIN

 Heidenhain GMBH, originated from the metal etching factory founded by Wilhelm Heidenhain in Berlin, Germany in 1889. This factory produces templates, signs, scales and scales. When the company was destroyed during World War II, the son of Wilhelm HEIDENHAIN founded DR. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN in Trauunreuter, Germany. The first products were also scales and retail valuation scales. Production of optical position measurement systems for machine tools began shortly after. In the early 1960s, it began to produce linear grating ruler and Angle encoder for photoelectric scanning. These developments have led to the automation of many machines and equipment in the manufacturing industry. Since the mid-1970s, Hedham has become an important manufacturer of CNC and drive systems for machine tools. Since the founding of the company, we always adhere to the road of technology development. In order to maintain the company's sustainable development and technical position, in 1970, Dr. Johannes Heidehan transferred his shares of the company to the Foundation. This allows Hedham today to invest heavily in research and development.
