 YSI has instruments that are widely recognized by scientists and researchers. The company sticks to a clear plan to provide quality products for specific niches (environmental monitoring and testing, precision temperature measurement, and biotechnology) while continuing to reduce costs. YSI recognizes its core competency in sensor technology and has committed to building a $3 million new facility to house an advanced sensor measurement technology team. Engineers continue to work hard to develop more innovative products. Formed a three-person partnership at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, USA. The village, located between Dayton and Columbus, remains the headquarters of the Yellow Springs Instrument Company (now known as YSI).
