 wagstaff, Inc. is an American engineering/manufacturing manufacturer in the aluminum industry. Innovation, service, integrity and quality are the cornerstones of 75 years of successful industry leadership. It all started in 1946 in a pump house behind George Wagstaff. In the first year, George, a skilled machinist, used the war surplus lathe he had earned to make subcontract parts for another machinery factory. By day he worked on a lathe and by night he worked in an aluminum factory. Over time, his hard work paid off, allowing him to purchase a second lathe and expand his machining business. Today, wagstaff is a recognized manufacturer of the design, development, supply and service of the systems and equipment needed to produce raw aluminum ingots and billets using the direct cooling (DC) casting method at foundries everywhere.
