Detail
Gear pump KF is used to pump a variety of fluids. Gear pump KFS are unique in that they are available in a variety of variants, which are assembled according to modularity principles and can be subsequently raised. Pumps are also suitable for low medium lubrication performance. The standard housing part is gray cast iron. The reducer is made of high strength surface hardened steel and is hardened and installed in a special multi-compound plain bearing bushing. The standard drive shaft is sealed with a single radial seal lip. All sizes of pumps come with a helical tooth system. This feature is combined with special gear geometry to achieve low noise levels and reduce pressure pulsation. • Fluids should be of low lubrication, should not contain solids, and should be chemically compatible. • Avoid dry running. • Operate the pump only in the specified rotation direction, otherwise the shaft seal will be damaged. • To prevent excessive overpressure, provide a safety valve on the system or pump. • Pressure relief valves installed on pumps should only be used as short-term relief valves. • If part of the discharge flow must be discharged for an extended period of time, a separate relief valve must be foreseen with a return line to the storage tank.
