Detail
The epc controller developed by Altronic is a new hoerbiger product that significantly improves efficiency, improves reliability, and reduces emissions. They improve the efficiency and reliability of gas engines while reducing emissions. The gas/air fuel ratio controller is suitable for most carburetor engines that use natural gas. The product range includes stoichiometric application systems using catalytic converters (epc-110/120 and epc-100e), carburetor lean-burn engine models (epc-150), and low-horsepower carburetor engine products (epc-50). Altronic's epc controls are equipped with new microprocessor technology that allows for specific customization of complex control strategies and a wide range of applications. They operate by closing a control loop using oxygen sensors installed in the exhaust, which measure oxygen content and regulate emissions at specific set points. Precise control of fuel supply depends on the valve of the stepper motor. All epc controllers have an alphanumeric LCD display that continuously provides the operator with critical operational data without relying on a handheld device or personal computer. For easy integration into monitoring systems, the altronic epc controller supports the modbus rtu communication protocol. Each epc control system includes a PC-based monitoring and control package. The Canadian Standards Association (csa) has certified the entire family of epc controllers for use in Class i, Class 2, Class c and Class d danger zones.
