 The thermocouple sensor consists of two different metals connected at the * end to the * beginning. This node is where the temperature is measured. The two metals produce a small voltage that can be measured and interpreted by the control system. The different metals are individually margined, and an outer coating exists to maintain a tight two-wire configuration. Our thermocouple sensors and components are offered in a variety of standard styles to suit a wide range of applications. Class 1 thermocouples are manufactured according to IEC584.
