FAIRCHILD Vacuum regulator series

 Vacuum regulators are designed for systems requiring system vacuum control up to full vacuum. The Model 17 control diaphragm is balanced by a set of three range springs to provide stable, responsive and reliable operation. Stability of regulating vacuum or pressure under changing flow conditions is maintained through the use of suction tubes that adjust the internal valve according to the flow rate. With 1/2" water column control sensitivity and a balanced supply valve, the Model 17 pneumatic vacuum regulator provides accurate and reliable accuracy to maintain the desired set point regardless of supply pressure changes or conditions. In fact, it will provide this performance with a vacuum supply effect of less than 0.15 of any supply vacuum change. The Fairchild Model 17 will handle a large supply vacuum of 40 in Hg, 762 Torr, 102 kPa and provide three (3) output vacuums ranging from 0-5 in Hg, 0-127 Torr, 0-17 kPa to 0-30 mercury, 0-762 torr, 0-102 kPa. The Fairchild 17 Pneumatic vacuum regulator provides flows of up to 12 SCFM and 20.4 m3/hr.
