EACD-1 is the first optically isolated AC frequency detector designed to be used as feedback to Hedforth electronic controllers used in hydraulic motor driven alternator applications. The output of the EACD-1 provides a frequency pulse signal based on the generator speed, which directly drives the frequency input pins of the controller operating in closed loop mode.
