The limited size of the intermediate flange design makes the valve very lightweight and compact. The valve cone has a metal seal.
The robust valve design and metal valve seal do not require any special filtration of the working fluid. The valve is essentially maintenance-free due to its medium wetted removable parts. In addition, it can be installed in any required installation location.
