Megger BVM is a battery voltage measuring device used to test large, industrial battery packs commonly found in power substations, telecommunications facilities and computer data center UPS systems. When used with load test equipment such as TORKEL devices and test data management software such as PowerDB and TORKEL Win, BVM enables users to perform the first fully automated battery pack tests according to IEC test methods, which also meet NERC/FERC requirements.
Designed in modular form, * BVM units are used for each * battery or battery bottle of the battery string being tested, and * BVMS of each * battery are connected using a "Daisy chain" to provide convenient and economical scalability to meet the testing requirements of small to large battery pack systems.
