A front-wired HART ® gas detector is ideal for monitoring toxic and combustible gases without the need for expensive and fixed wiring. With five years of battery life and key calibration, Vanguard detectors are easy to operate and maintain.
Each front detector features a wireless HART ® transceiver, antenna, display, long life power module, gas sensor, and signal processor for the gas sensor. Vanguard uses a sensor architecture branded "Flexsense" that allows the sensor to recognize its target gas and automatically configure as a front transmitter when connected.
Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) methane sensors (0-100% LEL) or electrochemical hydrogen sulfide sensors (0-100ppm) are currently available.
