The need for improved ride quality and increased durability makes Enidine's Rotary shock absorbers (RSA) perfect for controlling vertical and lateral motion in track suspension applications. RSA is durable and performs better than linear shock absorbers, providing today's best ride quality.
The unique RSA is a vane type shock absorber. Opposite chambers filled with fluid are connected to each other through metering valves. Rotational forces applied to the end of the wing shaft transfer fluid from the high pressure chamber to the opposite low pressure chamber. This results in resistance to relative motion and damping of input forces. The amount of damping torque is controlled by the angular velocity of the load applied to the shock absorber and the valve setting.
