Bus terminal module controller BC2000 is a bus coupler with integrated PLC functionality and has a fieldbus interface for Lightbus. The BC2000 is an intelligent slave and can be used as a non-central intelligent component in Lightbus systems. A node consists of a bus terminal module controller, any number of 1-64 terminal modules, and bus terminal modules. The bus terminal module controller can be programmed using the TwinCAT programming system conforming to IEC 61131-3 standards. The BC2000 configuration/programming interface is used to load PLC programs. If the software PLC TwinCAT is used, the PLC program can also be loaded via fieldbus.
The input/output of the connected bus terminal module is assigned in the default Settings of the bus terminal module controller. Each bus terminal module can be configured to exchange data with the upper layer automation equipment directly through the field bus. Similarly, the preprocessed data can also be exchanged between the bus terminal module controller and the upper controller through the field bus.
