GemRam * is a lightweight, portable Raman spectrometer for rapid, nondestructive verification of known gems and identification of unknown gems based on mineral physical properties. Designed specifically for gemologists and researchers, it incorporates B&W Tek's identification software GemID? Combined with a library of more than 450 real gems from the GemExpert series, this series includes spectra and images of commonly used and rare gemstones. The GemRam can be used to identify polished gems and crystals as well as unpolished gems.
