OMICRON high frequency current transformer MCT 085 series

 The MCT 085 High Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT) is designed for off-line or on-line partial discharge (PD) measurements of medium voltage (MV) cables. This product is mainly used for ground connection. MCT 085 has a core diameter of more than 28.5 mm and can be installed on the outside of the ground braid of the medium-voltage cable. The MCT 085 provides an excellent signal-to-noise ratio with very high sensitivity over a wide frequency range. MCT 085 can be mounted directly on medium voltage cable using suitable fasteners. MCT 085 communicates with the measuring equipment through a 10 m coaxial cable. The MCT 085 HFCT can be used as an accessory to our MPD 800 universal PD measurement and analysis system and the MonTESTO 200 mobile temporary PD monitoring system.
