SKF produces a wide range of cylindrical roller bearings in different designs, sizes and series. Most of them are single row bearings with a cage. Together with single row and double row full roller bearings (without cage), the bearing variety standard of SKF for general engineering is formed. Bearing with cage can bear heavy radial load, and can run at high speed. Full roller bearings are suitable for very heavy radial loads at medium speeds.
As for SKF cylinder roller bearing, roller is one of the key components. Its geometry, the so-called logarithmic shape, provides optimal stress distribution in the contact area of the bearing. The surface finish greatly promotes the formation of lubricant oil film and optimizes the rolling of rollers. The benefits over conventional designs include improved operational reliability and greater tolerance for misalignment.
Types of cylindrical roller bearings
Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cage, mainly designed for NU, NJ, NUP and N
Double row cylindrical roller bearings with cage, mainly designed for NNU and NN
Multiple row cylindrical roller bearing with cage
Single row full roller cylindrical roller bearings, mainly designed for NCF and NJG
Double row full roller cylindrical roller bearings are mainly designed for NNF
Cylindrical roller bearing with four or eight rows of rollers
