Looking like an ordinary monitor, the MMI is literally a touchscreen PC, truly all-powerful: reporting and displaying during operation: running and train status, control commands, train announcements, electronic timetables and video surveillance. With it, all of these can be easily monitored and interactively controlled by the engine driver.
