Flowmeters operate on the same displacement principle as VS and act as on-line devices to measure viscous media. The pulse frequency is proportional to the velocity of the volumetric flow-driven measuring unit wheel. Pulse assessment is performed using the VSE assessment electronic device or any other assessment device.
