Ac or AC/DC current monitoring device with analog current output and standard voltage signal output.
Depending on the version, the input can be used to measure single-phase AC current or DC current up to 60 A. The measurement method is RMS (transformer based) or TRMS (Hall sensor) method.
The output has a switchable analog DC current/voltage signal.
Converters with transformer based couplings are used for cost effective measurement of sinusoidal currents (50/60 Hz). The measured current flows directly through the primary winding of the measuring transformer. The secondary winding provides the proportional current signal for the electronic measuring system. Such measurements are limited to currents up to 10A due to the power loss that occurs. You can use this method to measure the effective value (RMS) of the current.
