When the safety door (hinged or sliding door) is closed, the spring-loaded transponder in the actuator is inserted into the groove of the reader head. The reader head detects a closed guard in the guard lock position. CES evaluation electronics enable the security circuit when the security guard is locked. When the moving parts of the machine are stationary, the solenoid integrated into the reader head can be activated by a secure stationary monitor or timer relay. The solenoid's plunger then raises the spring-loaded transponder, which opens the safety guard.
