Pressure capacity:
Without external reinforcing ring: High 3 psi / 0.2 bar
With external reinforcing ring: High 15 psi / 1.0 bar
Vacuum capacity:
Without internal reinforcing ring: up to 3 in Hg / 75 mm Hg
With internal reinforcing ring: up to 15 in Hg / 381 mm Hg
Contact Garlock if higher vacuum or pressure etc. is required
Athletic ability:
Each convolution is 3/4 inch /19 mm axially compressed
5/8 inch /16 mm axial elongation per turn
5 ⁄ 8 inch /16 mm lateral deflection per convolution
Motion is non-concurrent. Larger convolution can be used to provide more motion.
