 It can be easily adapted for a variety of testing tasks, such as through integration into production lines or for laboratory purposes. The system provides two different operation modes. This mode allows the sensor to move along the outline of the component. Another mode involves moving the component through the use of an appropriate fixture relative to the fixed sensor. The robot unit can be completed with a tool replacement station, additional measuring equipment, or user-specific installation. Last but not least, the robot kinematics can be extended by adding more linear or rotational axes.
